Christmas LED Tealight Card!!

Happy Wednesday my friends! Hope you are having a fabulous day on this wonderful Wednesday. Can you believe Christmas is only 8 days away! Here is my Christmas card I made. It is lite up with a LED battery tealight. I been seeing a lot of these cards and wanted to try to make one!! :) Hope you get inspired and make one too!
The card base is a piece of 5 1/2 by 12 inch Christmas pattern paper. The card base was scored at 3, 6 and 9 inch marks on scoreboard. The window image is cut from Christmas Cricut Cartridge. The Christmas Tree image is cut from Cricut Craft Room Basics. I cut another 5 1/2 by 12 inch red cardstock to adhered to back of card.
This card was designed with my Gypsy so I could actually place the blackout window image where I wanted the Cricut Expression to cut it out on the  5 1/2 by 12 inch Christmas pattern paper. I cut a piece of vellum to adhere inside of card for windows.
I adhered some red, green and gold sequins on the Christmas Tree.
Here is a close look at the inside of card and tealight lite up.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week. :)

Braiding Loom Bracelets!!!

Hello my friends! Can you believe we only have 10 days til Christmas Day!! I'm sharing some Christmas gifts I made for my daughter to give to a few teachers and classmates. These bracelets were braided with a braiding loom. I made some bracelets in a size 6, 7 and 8 inch. The dark and light blue one is a 13 inch choker necklace. It takes  me about 30 minutes to make a 8 inch bracelet.
I cut a small piece of green card stock. Stamped a Santa and a tag on it. Folded the green card stock in half and stapled the bracelet in it. :)

Here is some of the different designs I created with braiding cord and  black 100% cotton fashion crochet thread 3 size. The black bracelet was made with black crochet thread. All the other bracelets and choker necklace was made with braiding cord. If you are interested in knowing how I made these let me know;)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a awesome week! :)

Christmas Silver Plate Door Wreath!

Happy Monday my friends! Can you believe we only have 17 days till Christmas Day. I love this time of year!!! I get to make Christmas cookies and spend time with Family and friends. :) Are you finished with your Christmas shopping? I still have a few more small thing to purchase and I will be finished with Christmas gifts. :) This is one of the items I made for the Christmas Bazaar I participated in. This was super easy to put together and the silver plate, red ribbon, artificial  poinsettia flower bunch cost only a dollar each. The pine cone and gift decoration cost .50 cents. I painted the center of silver  plate with black paint. Used a white painter pen to write Happy Holidays on painted black center. The red ribbon and poinsettia flower was hot glued on the plate. I punched two holes at the top of silver plate with my crop a dile hole puncher and tied a piece of silver cord so it could hang on a door wreath hanger. :)
Thanks for looking. Have a blessed week my friends! ;) Sharing at this linkup party. Craftin Desert Diva's Christmas linkup Party.

Crochet Lip Balm Keyring Cozy

Happy Tuesday my friends! Hope you are having a great week. Thanksgiving is Thursday for everyone here in the USA. I love this time of year. All of my Family and friends will get together for Thanksgiving. :) I will be very busy Wednesday baking sweet potatoes pie and pineapple upside down cake. Thursday I will make turkey breast, spiral ham, candied yams, green beans, mash potatoes and biscuits. Today, I am sharing a crochet lip balm holder key ring cozy requested by a friend. My friend and I won't  lose our chap stick / lip balm anymore. I did not follow a pattern for this. I just measured the lip balm and crochet to fit the standard size lip balm. I made the crochet cozy to snug fit the lip balm.
These keep chap stick/  lip balm handy on a key ring. This item is listed in my Etsy Shop
Thanks for looking. Have a great week my friends. Have a safe and Happy Holiday! :)

Mermaid Felt Dolls!

Hello my  sweet friends! Hope you Thursday is going great. Can you believe we only have a week and we will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day next Thursday!!! Today, I'm sharing a mermaid felt doll my daughter requested for me to make. She seen this mermaid in a book with a mermaid template/pattern. She ask me if I could make some of these mermaids for her to give as Christmas gifts to her friends. :) You know me, I said yes and started making them right away!
To make the mermaids hair I used yellow, green and blue felt. For the face and top body I used white felt. The bra is made out of ribbon and a button. For the black eyes and red mouth I used  embroidery threads. Here is a close up of the mermaid with green hair.
The tail was made with pink felt. The mermaid doll measures 10 in tall by 2 in wide. The arms are 7 in wide. Hope you enjoy looking at these mermaids as much as my daughter does. She can't take her eyes off them! :) I like how they turned out too!
Thanks for stopping by my friends. Hope you have a fabulous week! :)

Small Crochet Hand Sanitizer Bottle Holders!!

Happy Wednesday! Hope you week is going good. Click on blue link to see my crochet 8 oz hand sanitizers bottle holder. I got a request for me to make some crochet 2 oz hand sanitizer holder. I add a clip to these so they can be clipped to a purse or belt loop.
This small crochet hand sanitizer bottle holder is made the same as larger crochet one. The only difference on the small one is I sewn up both bottom side a few stitches. The hand sanitizer bottle can be  removed and replaced on sides of crochet holder.
Here is the back side of holder with loop and clip.
Here is the 2 oz hand sanitizer I put in holders. Got to go now. Make sure you stop back tomorrow so you can see my cute handmade felt mini mermaid requested by my daughter for some of her friends. :)

Crochet Hand Sanitizer Bottle Covers

Happy Friday. Hope you all had a great day. I had a great day! Went to my daughter school today to see her get her Honor Roll Certificate.  :) I'm so proud of her for making Honor Roll this quarter!! :)  Here is a crochet hand sanitizer bottle cover. I will be showing the girls in my crochet class how to make these. These are easy to make and will make a great gift for the girls to make and give as Christmas gifts. :)
This is a double crochet stitch all the way to end. Then single crochet and create a loop on the other end. The red cover is a double crochet stitch. I single crocheted around the outer edges with white yarn. I measure the bottle to see how many chains and rows I would need to crochet to make a cover for the bottle.
Here is a close up of the red and white one.
I made a loop for the cover. The bottle can be carried with loop or can be hung on a  cabinet door knob.
Thanks for stopping by and looking. Have a great weekend friends! :)
