Another Cri-kits gel pen card!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week so far. This image is from the Cricut Lite Botanicals cartridge. This cart has no layers. It has the Creative image and shadow cut. I used my Cri-kits gel pen to draw the image on the first card. I cut the image out with yellow card stock to get the butterflies and flower layers. I used my scissors and cut off the butterflies and flower images and pop dot it on the drawn image. I love this cart because it has a lot of good images that can be drawn with gel pens or markers:)

Here is the image cut out with yellow card stock and blue image shadow. I used the Cri-kits gel pen to outline the leaves and flower and I used stickles on butterflies:) I embossed the card with Cuttlebug (Tiny Mosaic) embossing folder. I won the SummerTime contest at Cri-kits blog. Here is the link if you want to check out my winning Project :)

Have a great week all and thanks for stopping by:)

Summer fun layout!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good day. We had a earthquake here on Tuesday afternoon around 1:52 pm. Everything in my house was shaking and falling off shelves. I yelled to my Daughter EARTHQUAKE!! We started praying to God and started running to get out of the house. When we got out side it had stopped and all the neighbors were out there. We could not believe what had just happen. My daughter was crying and I was scared and shaken up! I'm so glad no one was hurt by this earthquake. Here is another 8 1/2 by 11 inch layout page to go in to a 8 1/2 by 11 inch Your Story book for my daughter. One day I will have enough pages to complete the book. I got to keep working on the pages:)

The sun is from Mickey and Friends Cartridge and is on page #127 of the handbook. The wave border is from Life is a Beach and is on page# 45 of handbook and the 2010 is from this cart too. I purchase the clear two sided stickers from the $ Tree Store last year. I thought they would make a cute layout for my daughter and they did. I'm so glad I purchased them:) The sun face I used Lara's Crafts doll rub on faces. Purchased the rub on faces from Michael's.

I used a corner rounder to round corners on photo mat. I won from Mollie a blog friend a few months ago. Thanks again Mollie! This is an awesome paper tool to have. I'm linking this to Creative Cutter Room Challenge Splish Splash to make a water theme project. Get over there and play along and create a project. They have an awesome prize to give away :)

3D flower and butterfly project!!

Hello everyone. I hope your week is going great so far! I made this for a friend of mine. She wanted a flower and butterfly hanging project. This is what I came up with. I used the thickest chip board I could find for the circle. The chip board didn't cut out on 4 multi cut with the Cricut E. I had to finish cutting it out with my scissors because the chipboard was to thick. I wanted the circle to be sturdy. I used Plantin School book to cut out the roly poly circle on page #72 of handbook.

I punched hole with my crop a dile and set eyelets at top. I used natural raffia for the hanger and made some tied bows with the raffia on project:)

If you want to know what I used to make 3D Carnation dimensional flowers. Look here. This is my first time using this tool and I love it:) The flower are really beautiful with this tool!

Butterflies is a black and white print out. I colored the butterflies with pastel color memory pencils. I used glitter glue around edges of butterflies. Here is a close up. I had to let you see how pretty they really are ;) I had alot of fun making this project. I'm getting ready to make some more flowers with the flower tool! I'm linking this project to Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge "Winged Things".

Thank you for stopping by. Have fabulous week all:)

Clothes pin task board!!

Hello all my crafty friends! Happy Friday to you all. Here's what I've been working on! I've made a lot of these clothes pin task boards and never posted one. Thought I would post for you all to see. This one is really pretty with these colors. I love how it looks! This task board is a great board to have in the kitchen. The clothes pin come in handy to close up snack bags etc. I like these board because when the task is complete. The clothes pin can be put back on the board. Where they can be found for the next task ;) I seen the clothes pin wreath idea and got the idea to make this clothes pin task oval board :)

I painted the wooden oval board blue and painted the clothes pin blue on one side and pink on other side. I glued the apron down with Mod Podge gloss_lustre. I painted Mod Podge Gloss- Lustre over apron image and wooden board to water seal the paper image and give the wooden board a glossy shine. Apron image is From My Kitchen cartridge and is on page# 51. This is my first time using this cartridge.

Leave a comment. Let me know what you think about this project. Have a blessed and wonderful weekend all. Thank you all for stopping by and looking:)

Hello friends. I hope your day was wonderful. It was very rainy here today. We got lots of rain. Here is some cards I made today. I tried something new with this card. I used some brown corrugated cardboard for the background of card. I never used this on a card and I like it. I seen this corrugated cardboard used on another blog but I can't remember where at. I'm thinking about purchasing some different colors of this corrugated cardboard.

I made this one in different colors of paper:) This sailboat is from Mickey and Friends Cartridge. This sailboat is on page #120 of the handbook.
