Christmas in July project!!

Hello everyone! Did you all have a wonderful weekend? I had a busy but fun weekend. I had a yard sale and put out a table of my handmade earrings and lollipop bouquet and everyone love them. They went within the first two hours. Now! I have to make some more! Here is my first Christmas project for 2011. I seen a lot of beautiful Christmas cards made this month. I wanted to make some Christmas tree ornaments. I will be making a lot of these. I will be giving these to my family and friends this year with a Christmas card:) and making some for the craft show. These will be a keepsake decoration for my family and friends. These are easy to make. I purchased the gold craft wire, beads, gold ribbon and wire cutter tool at Walmart. I'm making them in different color acrylic beads. I first hand shape the wire in to a tree shape. Then, I add the beads and wrap wire at top to create a loop to tie ribbon through.

I like creating things with that craft wire to see what I can make.I hope you all like my handmade ornament. Have a great week all and thank you so much for stopping by and looking:)

Working on a Your Story book!!

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day. Here is a 8 1/2 by 11 inch layout I made. I'm making a 8 1/2 by 11 inch book for my daughter with a lot of scrap pages. I will be making the book with the Your Story book binding machine. I never made a book with the Your Story. This will be the first book! I have a lot of photos to scrap for the book. All, I need to do is get on the ball and make all my scrap pages for the book. I want to make a very special keepsake book for my daughter.

For this layout! I used the Gypsy to design this page and I used the Gypsy Wanderings and Gypsy Font preloaded on the Gypsy. I used a MS ( Flower bed) deep edge punch for the pink card stock at top and bottom of the page. I had a lot of left over scrap paper I used for the die cuts. I'm trying to use all my left over scrap paper up;) This was a easy page to put together. I think it turned out great. I'm linking this to Cooking with Cricut challenge #44 to us a bunny on a project.

Have a wonderful weekend my friends and thank you for stopping by and looking :)

I always wanted to try to make one of these lollipop bouquet and here it is. This one was very easy to make. I can't wait to make some different ones! I purchase the clear water cups, blow pops and colored crafter sticks from the $ Tree Store. The crafter sticks are holding up the lollipop die cut. Cricut marker project!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great day. Here is a card I made today for Cooking With Cricut challenge # 42 to use marker or pen work or sun on project. When I seen this challenge. I knew I want to make a card for this challenge. I used my black Cricut marker and Life is a Beach cartridge to draw this title word with the Cricut E. I cut out the star fish layers in glitter blue and pink paper and add glitter glue to star fish at top of the word friends.

I switched the paper color of star fish around on this card. These cards are pretty with the star fish cut out with the blue and pink glitter paper. These cards are easy to make and it is A2 size card.

Here is a close up of the card. The draw lines are smooth and there is no skipping on paper with the markers:) I love to use these markers to draw with the Cricut. My daughter thinks it is so cool to watch it draw the image.

Thank you for stopping by and looking and you all have a great week:)

Decorate To Celebrate Guest Designer!!!!

Hello friends. Happy Wednesday to you all! I hope you're having a terrific day! I am so excited and honored to have been ask by Rhonda and Amy to be a Guest Designer for Decorate To Celebrate Challenge #4 Kids Party Theme. I decided to create a Princess for a day party theme for my daughter and one of her friends. Here is the decorations I made for the Princess party. I made a 3D Castle, party favor bag, crown and princess party invitations. I used my Gypsy for this project and I used the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge to create the decorations:)

Here is a close up of the Castle. I used glitter paper I purchase from Target and I had so much glitter all over my cutting mat and it was every where from this glitter paper. This little castle is so beautiful and makes a great decoration:)

I love the crown too! You can't have a princess party with out a crown.

My daughter wanted me to make some Princess bean bags and here they are. She loves to toss these little bean bags around. I made a tutorial to show how I made them.

You will need (2) 9 x 12inch felt sheets and some dry beans. Cut felt sheets to 4 by 4 inch squares. You can get (6) bean bags out of the (2) felt sheets.

Face the right side of felt sheets together and then sew about 1/4 inch around edges. Leave a open edge so it can be turned to the right side.

Here how it should looks when its turned to right side. The open edge where it not sewn is where the bean can be put in that opening.

I hand stitched the opening with invisible nylon thread.

I made a crown stencil with heavy card stock. The crown stencil is cut from Once upon a Princess cart. I placed the crown stencil on bean bag and sponge dabbed the purple puffy paint on the felt. I love how these bean bags turned out ;0)

Thank you Rhonda and Amy for asking me to be your Guest Designer. I had so much fun creating this princess party project. Thank you all for stopping by and looking. Have a terrific week everyone:)

Ladies night out!

Hello friends! I hope your having a fabulous day! Here is a great idea. I'm having a ladies night out with (4) of my best friends in August. I made these cute fry boxes to give to them and these cute invitation cards. I think we will all need a night out after spending the summer with our children. It cost me $2.62 to stuff each fry box with nail polish, lotion, and emery boards. I think my friends will love this cute fry box favor! I used Forever Young cartridge for the polish cut on front of card and box. The polish cut is on page 46 of handbook. The card is A2 size and I cut the polish 4 inch for card and 3 inch for the fry box.

I'm linking this to Decorate to Celebrate challenge. The challenge theme is to create an (Adult theme party) project. I hope you all like this idea. The free fry box download I used is right here. All you have to do is print them out with your printer and then cut them out with scissors ;) When I seen these cute fry boxes. I knew I wanted to make some for my friends night out;) This fry box can be used for any occasion.

Have a wonderful week everyone and thank you all for stopping by and looking:)
